What's In a Name?
Mount Evelyn is my hometown and where my lovely store resides. A collective of creatives, a place to support small business – to find new ideas, treasures and gifts.
A joy to those that find us, she belongs to her community.
She is Evelyn’s Place.
Our lovely store was opened in May 2023 by myself along with co-owners Jess and Courtney. Originally opened as Eco Soul Collective – a sister store to the original Eco Soul opened in Belgrave a year earlier. Since opening, the store has grown and transformed, and I was given the opportunity to take the store on as my own.
I am also super pleased that Evelyn’s Place is home to my other love – The Essential Guide – a business I established in 2018 and which now has headquarters for my customers to shop, learn and make. I am super proud of the store we have created – the atmosphere, the ethos and most importantly, the collection of small businesses that make Evelyn’s Place what it is.
